Programmatic and Digital Sales Executive is responsible for driving programmatic revenues, advancing the programmatic strategy for Boston Herald Interactive while also managing sales for regional and national accounts.

The Programmatic and Digital Sales Executive will work to create and sustain an effective ad revenue ecosystem between direct sold, programmatic, exchange and third party network deals.

We’re looking for a passionate and experienced programmatic trading expert to manage our private marketplace offering.

This individual will serve as a point person for interaction with agencies, trading desks and DSPs regarding the company’s programmatic offerings to ensure that any programmatic components of an advertising package are executed seamlessly.

The role will also require customized campaign management, understanding of the Private Marketplace environment and planning which includes creating recommendations and implementation of strategies for meeting client goals.

The Sales Executive will also be responsible for identifying, pitching, closing and managing interactive advertising revenue from direct advertisers and agencies.


Responsibilities include:

?      Partner with DSPs as well as trading desks and manage those sales relationships to create and execute campaigns

?      Put together programmatic programs for a myriad of clients

?      Follow-up on programmatic sales leads

?      Work with regional and national direct accounts

?      Formulate sales strategies, make in-person sales calls to new and existing clients, develop strong business relationships with advertisers and agencies

?      Meet or exceed monthly quotas while consistently and accurately managing sales activity


You relish the idea of challenging advertisers to adopt new processes or behavior. Your professional persona allows you to successfully convince advertisers to spend money on digital products. 

?       Prior experience working at an ad network or DSP is a benefit.

?        3+ years interactive sales, online advertising or digital sales experience.

?       Excellent track record in developing relationships with direct advertisers and agencies.

?       Demonstrated ability to perform against quota
