Sitecore honors Agency Oasis with a Sitecore MVP award, the third in two years

Sitecore announced the 2011 Most Valuable Professionals (MVPs) in the Sitecore developer community. Our very own Mark Ursino, Senior Web Application Developer, joined the ranks of Nick Laidlaw and Mark Graber as the third Sitecore MVP at Agency Oasis. Mark was amongst the 52 people who were awarded this prestigious title.

The Sitecore MVP program recognizes the top technical community leaders of Web Content Management Systems. The Sitecore MVP award honors the most active Sitecore members around the world who share their knowledge through their invaluable involvement within the Sitecore community. Lars Fløe Nielsen, Senior VP of Technical Marketing, states that, “Sitecore MVPs are technology experts who inspire others to learn and grow through active participation in the Sitecore technical community. The MVPs share the same passion for technology and a demonstrated willingness to help others innovate and advance the use of Web strategies.” 1

Every year, Sitecore MVPs are chosen through an extensive evaluation process put forth by an independent panel of Sitecore employees from technical, product marketing, and executive positions. This panel reviews all nominations factoring in quality, quantity, and the level of impact of the nominees’ involvement.

The content of their contributions include:

  • General technical advocacy
  • Contributing to the Sitecore community via blogs
  • Contributing to Sitecore Developer Network forums
  • Writing and/or publishing content such as white papers and articles

This year, 52 MVPs were chosen among the 4,500 certified Sitecore developers and more than 10,000 active community participants. Agency Oasis is not only proud to be a Sitecore partner, but also to have members of the team recognized as MVPs in the Sitecore Developer Community.
