June, 2013 Launches New Interactive Features and Brings On More Designer Brands

Members-only fashion negotiation site announces major website changes, additional user-friendly functions and introduction of shoes

Boston, MA (June 20, 2013), the fashion e-commerce website that allows individual shoppers to do real-time negotiations for designer brands, announces the next phase in development with the launch of a redesigned website.

The focus of the website redesign gives shoppers a cleaner look and feel, and tools to improve the shopping experience. now showcases products on its homepage, giving members and non-members an opportunity to get a glimpse at some of the hundreds of designer fashion items on the site. A "Featured Products" section will showcase inventory three times per week, and a "Trending Now" feature has been added to show which products are most popular. Prior, only Nyopoly members could view which products were currently in inventory. The homepage also hosts a new video that takes viewers through the entire Nyopoly experience.

Nyopoly has added new social features including shoppers having the capability to login or register through an existing Facebook account. Nyopoly also launched "At the Rack," a private space allowing members to discuss products and negotiations with friends, similar to such conversations while shopping together in-store. An invite a friend feature was added as well, giving Nyopoly members an opportunity to earn $50 credit when friends simply join Nyopoly.

The Nyopoly merchandising team works directly with designers, showrooms and distributors in Italy, New York and Los Angeles, buying current season goods from the same partners as most department stores. Nyopoly has also added shoes to its current mix of products that already includes women's handbags, accessories, jewelry and watches by the industry's most in-demand designers. The shoe category consists of over 100 varieties from prestigious designers. To give designers their spotlight, a new "Designers" category has been created, which includes fashion designer bios, company logos and current items Nyopoly carries on its website.

Nyopoly purchases in limited quantities, so its inventory remains fresh. Members negotiate the price they would like to pay for specific products, and can receive as much as a twenty percent cash-back reward in Nyopoly Money for successful negotiations. No more having to wait for a sale. Once members begin negotiating on an item, Nyopoly will either accept offers made, or counter offer within seconds. Members can walk away from the virtual negotiation table at any time with zero consequences. It's non-committal.
