Scott Kirsner is a journalist who writes about innovation and entrepreneurship. His “Innovation Economy” column appears Sundays in the Boston Globe, and he is also editor of the site Innovation Leader (www.innovationleader.com), which focuses on R&D, product development, corporate venturing, and new initiatives within large companies. Scott has been a regular contributor to Fast Company, BusinessWeek, Variety, and Wired. His books include Fans, Friends, and Followers and Inventing the Movies, a technological history of Hollywood. Chad Laurans, Founder & CEO, SimpliSafe

Chad Laurans is the Founder and CEO of SimpliSafe, one of the country’s fastest growing tech companies. With superior product design and phenomenal service at a fraction of the cost, SimpliSafe has rapidly become one of the largest home security companies in the country and attracted the backing of top venture capital firm, Sequoia Capital. Prior to founding SimpliSafe, Chad worked at Apax Partners and Goldman Sachs.  He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Yale and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Nick Rellas, CEO, Drizly
Nick Rellas is the co-founder and CEO of Drizly, Inc., the technology company powering a superior shopping experience for beer, wine and liquor. Since its inception in 2013, Drizly has raised $17.8 million in seed funding, expanded from one to 17 major metropolitan markets, grew from three to 51 full-time employees, and delivered hundreds of thousands of deliveries across the country. Rellas was named to BetaBoston’s “25 Most Innovative People Under 25” list, which recognizes young professionals making an impact in the Boston start-up and business community. Rellas was also named to the 2015 Forbes’ “30 Under 30” list for changing the way consumers purchase alcohol.

Larry Rudolph, Co-Founder & CTO, ReDigi​ (@CuriousLarry)

Larry Rudolph received his PhD from Courant Institute, NYU in parallel supercomputing.  He was on the faculty at Carnegie-Mellon University, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  He has over 100 referred publications and three books in all fields of computer science.   He has consulted to many tech companies including IBM, SGI, Intel, and AT&T Bell Labs.
As senior Staff Engineer, he launched VMware’s virtual phone project, research scientist at Two Sigma, visiting scholar at NYU, advisor to the Massachusetts Open Cloud, and CTO of ReDigi.
