OPENING KEYNOTE ANNOUNCED: Jamie Clarke, CEO & Co-Founder, CEO, Live Out There
Jamie Clarke is a Canadian adventurer, author, filmmaker, inspirational speaker and business leader. Jamie has summited Mt. Everest twice, climbed the Seven Summits, and ridden camels across The Empty Quarter of Arabia. Jamie’s books are best sellers and his films have aired on National Geographic TV.
Clarke is a sought after business and adventure speaker who has addressed audiences around the world for companies such as IBM, Audi, Kraft, The Wall Street Journal, and Intel.
Jamie’s presentation "The Business of Adventure, The Adventure of Business" is more than a chronicle of adventures; it’s an inspiring and informative story about setting big goals and reaching them. With humour and high energy, Jamie shares how the lessons he learned on the side of a mountain, that were further tested in his company boardroom, have lead him to success as an entrepreneur.
Jamie is the CEO and Cofounder of LiveOutThere.com, an ecommerce company that was recently ranked by Profit Guide and Alberta Venture Magazine as one of Canada’s 50 fastest growing companies and was nominated for a National Innovation Award by Canada Post.
Tom Davis, Global Head of Ecommerce, PUMA SE
Tom Davis is the Global Head of Ecommerce for PUMA SE. PUMA’s Sport Performance and Lifestyle labels include categories such as football, running, motorsports, golf, and outdoor. Tom joined PUMA in January 2011 and has been working in the ecommerce industry since 1996.
Tom directs and oversees the company’s global ecommerce strategy and operations. This includes ecommerce businesses in North America, Europe, Asia and various emerging markets. Currently, PUMA’s ecommerce business spans 40 online stores and covers 30+ markets.
Prior to joining Puma, Tom managed the ecommerce businesses for Kenneth Cole Productions, Tommy Hilfiger and Sirius Satellite Radio. Tom has a BS from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
Mark Grannan, Analyst, Forrester Research
Mark serves Application Development & Delivery (AD&D) Professionals and helps Forrester clients understand digital experience solutions to drive better engagement with their customers. His research focuses on responsive web design (RWD); digital performance and content delivery networks (CDN's); self-service scenarios and portal technologies; and the architectural evolution of digital experience (DX) platforms.
