You're invited to join hosts Women Advancing and Skyword to learn what it takes to tell a good story about your professional persona!
You could Google "how to write a great résumé" and sift through 69,100,000 results or you could attend this hands-on, interactive learning workshop. Today, there is no such thing as a single document called a résumé. That’s only one piece of the professional you; LinkedIn, Twitter and all your social networks are part of your professional persona as well. In this workshop, you'll learn the ins and outs of what it takes to stand out as a top level candidate with step by step guidance on how to take your professional persona to the next level.
- Learn how to build three different and critical versions of your résumé: one for a lateral move, one for a move up the professional ladder, and one for jumping into a new industry based on the skills that you have, all from your “starter” resume.
- Learn to leverage your social media profiles to present your best professional self throughout your job search.
- Learn to optimize your LinkedIn account for recruiters and hiring managers.
- Learn how to design an effective cover letter.
Participants will have access to on-going support from Talentedly and content after the event.
